To determine if welder meets the requirements of welding to a specified welding procedure. Procedures are code base and testing can be evaluated and graded using destructive means and non-destructive.

Testing of weldments where the weld is destructively broken, and measurements are taken to see if sample meets code requirements.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), also known as Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Is a cost-effective method for revealing surface and near surface indications on ferromagnetic material. This method can be done with visual or fluorescent with either wet or dry methods.

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), also known as Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), is a highly sensitive means for testing surface indications in a wide verity of material. Testing can be done visual or fluorescently.

Ultrasonic thickness testing (UT) is a cost-effective way of measuring the thickness of material with out having to shut down the equipment being tested in most cases.

Ultrasonic shearwave testing (UTS) is a very effective way of testing weldments with out having to shut the equipment off or the area in most cases to test the integrity of it.

Computed Radiography (CR) is done using X-ray and gamma radiographic examination of weldments, casting, shop and piping systems. That is used to find subsurface indications.

Positive Material Identification (PMI) uses a portable spectrometer to analyze and identify alloys by grade and material composition.

Hardness testing is a portable method where you can test the metal surface with minor to no test marks on the surface.

Ferrite testing is a cost effective and accurate way to measure delta ferrite content in austenitic and duplex stainless steels.
